Share your feelings here. I lost my sister in 2004 to Breast Cancer and I still almost pick up the phone to try to call her. I am blessed to get to spend time with her daughters (twins). It helps me with the absence of her.

I also miss my grandmother who passed away many years ago. I have happy memories of the time I got to spend with her when I was a kid.

I also lost my step brother to alleged suicide but it is hard for me to believe he killed himself because he was always smiling. But maybe behind that smile was a torment we couldn't see........

Grief - Dealing with Losing a Loved One* Empty Taffy

Post  mr.moose Fri Sep 11, 2009 4:01 pm

I hope that pets count as losing a loved one.
I lossed my pet Taffy today. She got out and was hit by a pickup truck. The person didn't even slow down or stop. Taffy was 10 months old. She was part Chihuahua and part Miniature Schnauzer.
She did fill a void in my life and now she's gone. I've been crying all day. I could hardly stand up when I buried her in the back yard. Its so sad and it hurts.
Thanks for listening to my grief.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much she meant to you. I'm sorry you have had to bear more than anyone should ever have to live thru. But God is faithful and He will bless you and give you strength to make it thru this.
