Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.

Colossians 3:17

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

The Comforter

People pass me and smile
I smile back and say Hi
Just to look at me you’d never know
Inside I feel like I’m going to die.
I cry my silent tears
In the dark so no one sees
Quietly and painfully
My broken heart still bleeds.
I open up my eyes
Another day has dawned
I haven’t slept a wink
I haven’t even yawned.
Will I ever escape
The demons from my past
How long can my troubled mind
Really even last
There are things that no one knows
And I will never tell
And if I got what I deserve
I’d go straight to hell.
But there is a comforter
Who looks at me in love
And comes to hold me in His arms
From His home above.
He rocks me gently
He doesn’t scold
He knows my faults
And mistakes of old.
Of my sins
I am forgiven
And some wonderful day
I’ll go to heaven.
So thank you Lord
For this sleepless night
For all the demons
I have to fight
It helps me focus
On the important things
Like streets of gold
And angels wings.

Wow!! God has prepared things for us so wonderful that we cannot even begin to imagine them!!

God, forgive me when I get angry at you for letting things happen in my life that I don't understand why.
