Get away from it all

I rode my atv for the last two days...Had a great time. I had a few technical problems but thats part of riding off road. I'm a little stiff but not bad..to days in a row is a little much for this ole boy.
Need a day of rest in between rides. LOL.

Had an interesting day yesterday. So far today is peaceful. I am sitting on the back porch listening to it rain.

Wish I had some "get up and go" I do good to make it to the Wellness center every day. And that in itself is an accomplishment for me! The heated pool makes me feel a lot better.

I go stare crazy at home when there is nothing to do, so I decided to give astronomy a shot.
I ordered a new telescope and it should be here today..... .
So, that should keep me busy when there is not anything to do. I can watch birds and wildlife during the day, but my main interest will be the planets and stars.

I have to paint my front porch too. Bought the paint last fall and haven't gotten it done yet. Talk about it not sounding like you, does that sound like me? LOL

okey dokey folks, (you to lyrb), another good day, I am good on energy for about 3 hours in the morning, then I go downhill fast!! Today I started painting on my new front porch, roof, and railings.l Took ALL day!!! I work for about 30 mins, then I rest for about 1 hour. Sounds like government work huh??? !!!! But, I got it about 1/3 way done, Tomorrow is another day, paint is waiting on me. It well get done, I just have to go oh so slow! Hummingbird can tell you that is just not me!!! So..............how did the rest of you spend your day? Mr. Moose, don't hear much from you, how are you? How is your mom? Ok, I'm gone now, somebody chat besides me and Hummingbird. Good evening folks!!
remember to always take your rainbow with you (even when it seems to weigh 3000 pounds) hahaha

I need to do something this weekend to keep myself busy. My kids have plans with friends so I will be going stir crazy without them here. I would love to go ATV'ing but I'm not sure I will feel like it or have the gas to go. It is such great therapy for me to get out in the woods and ride.

Was a beautiful (but hot) day. Helped put linoleum in my moms dining room, it looks really pretty.
Mom fixed us a great meal, (she's such a good cook). We had roast, potatoes, carrots, baked beans and fresh fried okra and fresh tomatoes from her garden. Yum I can hear my cholesterol going up!

Hope everyone has a great day today. I've had my coffee, took my morning meds and so far I'm feeling good today. Thank the Lord for that!!

Was it hot today or what!!??? I stayed in the air conditioning and have had a pretty good day. Been very lazy..... Was pleased to have a friend come visit me that had never been to my house before.
Hate that my kids had to start back to school today I don't like to share them and I miss the days when I was able to home school them.

It has rained off and on all day here today. Rains really hard for a few minutes then quits and the sun comes out hotter than blazes.

Talk about something besides your health issues. Get you mind off of your problems. Discuss happy times here.
